Ultimate fidelity, simulation-ready mid-poly asset of the JAS-39C.
------------------------------
The JAS-39 "Gripen" (Griffin) is a light, single-engine, multirole fighter aircraft manufactured by the Swedish aerospace company Saab AB. The Gripen is a delta wing and canard configuration jet aircraft with relaxed stability design, and fly-by-wire controls.
------------------------------
While the Gripen may be described as a "4.5th Generation" fighter - much like the Dassault Rafale and Eurofighter Typhoon - the Gripen follows suitably Swedish design sensibilities like the Draken and Viggen before it; compared to other modern fighters it is smaller, cheaper to purchase, and cheaper to operate and maintain. Also like the Viggen before it, the Gripen is capable of operating from snow-covered landing strips as short as 500m, including operating from makeshift road bases, with a mission turnaround time of just ten minutes.
------------------------------
Represented here is a later JAS-39C model which is fully NATO-compatible and has been exported to Hungary, Czech Republic, South Africa, and Thailand.
